Plug Ins, modules, whatever you want to call them are an inevitable and invaluable part of building a website on a budget. As a small business you will have a number of ideas of what you want to have on your site. Some are nice to have and add benefits to users, others are pivotal to the success of your business.
The great thing about plug ins are that they have a free version along side a pro or premium plugin version. The free version being a fully working version but if you want bells and whistles, you know you’re going to have to dip your hand in your pocket. This means you get to try them out and make sure you get the right one for you.
Plug ins come thick and fast and we give credit to the developers around the world for the work they do. Anyone who builds a site using WordPress, magento, opencart, you name it will have a favourites list of plugins that get uploaded with every site and at Empeegeepee we’re no different.
We try and test a huge amount of plugins and for years have deleted ones that didn’t fit the bill. From now on these will not be deleted but added here for testing and discussion purposes.
To note – many developers rely on their premium versions and are great at taking specific requirements and adding them in to future updates. This resource allows us to build sites and give businesses, like yours the first step in to digital visibility that wouldn’t be possible so a great deal of thanks should be given.
